Casino is a son by exceptional sire Capitol I.
His dam, Weisse Dame v. Caletto II, is the direct granddam of world champion and European runner-up Cumano (with rider J. Lansink). Holsteiner bloodline 318D1, one of the most valuable mare lines in Holsteiner breeding, ensures that performance is passed on.
Casino’s full sister Casita competing at the Olympic Games in Athens for Saudi Arabia, and his full brother Calucci has also enjoyed international success in Great Britain. He is also closely related to the internationally successful showjumpers Perpetua (rider W. Greve), Lasita (G. di Capelli) and Optical (P. Raymakers).
Casino provided impressive proof of his sporting ability in 2003 and 2005 at the European Championships (under M. Aabo/Denmark). He also collected a series of top placings at European tournaments, such as Hanover, Hamburg, London, Falsterbo, Drammen and Copenhagen.
Casino’s progeny are no less successful. They win jump events up to the heaviest classes and display ability, technique and poise.
His daughter Casablanca has already tasted victory at World Cup events. Under Linnea Eriksson, Star Appeal won the Danish and Swedish showjumping championships, while Felini Skovsby recorded top placings under Ylva Wikman. In 2006, Casino’s son Make My Day claimed an outstanding 10th place in the versatility contest at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen.
