This young Holstein stallion combines masculine charisma, excellent conformation and quality basic gaits with showjumping attributes that meet the highest demands.
Explosion canter in an impressive way and more than lives up to his name at the jump: He fully demonstrates his qualities in terms of ability, technique and leg technique. His possibilities are almost limitless.
His father Eldorado van de Zeshoek combines the genes of the influential stallions Clinton and Toulon. Under Willem Greve, he was successful in international sport up to 1.60m and represented the Netherlands in several Nations Cups. Killerqueen VDM/Daniel Deusser, Elektric Blue/Max Kühner (AUT) and Jeunesse/Yves Vanderhasselt (BEL) are just a few examples of his numerous internationally highly successful offspring, which earned him a place in the top ten of the WBFSH’s worldwide sire ranking.
The dam’s sire Contender has made history in Holstein. He sired 129 licensed sons, who are used in almost all European warmblood breeding. His offspring are successful in almost all international championships and have won over 11 million euros. The granddam, Iduna IV, produced nine successful sport horses, including the licensed stallion Corrido (by Contender), who competed internationally at advanced level (S) under Nisse Lüneburg and sired many advanced level (S) horses.
The third generation includes the gray Corofino I, a highly placed Bundeschampionat finalist with Herbert Blöcker and later an internationally successful show jumper for Italy.
Among the numerous sons of the equally internationally successful Corrado I, he enjoys an exceptional position in terms of correct conformation. In Germany, he produced eleven licensed sons, including Corvalon, Coralecho, Coromino, Coronino, Corneus, Coulthard and Careca.
Explosion comes from the Holstein line 8769, whose success story is closely linked to the Magens family (Ottenbüttel). This line has produced 31 licensed stallions, including Camarque, Cartier by Schuttershof, Castor, Come On, Cordius M, Lamont, Landfein, Lord Caletto, Quibery and the internationally successful show jumpers Fleur/ Lesley Mc Naught (SUI), Grace/ Rolf Moormann, Nobless M/ Pius Schwizer (SUI), Panic/Beezie Madden (USA) and Traco/Andreas Weychert.
At the short assessment test in Elmshorn in 2024, Explosion was able to fully convince and received a score of 8.32 with excellent ratings in all individual criteria.
