His springy movement, a fantastic canter and jumping qualities of the highest order in terms of ability, leg technique and bascule make this young stallion particularly desirable.

His sire Conthalou was the licensing and main premium winner in Oldenburg in 2019 and 2021 respectively and, in keeping with his age, has been successful in show jumping tests up to medium (M) level.

The dam Utasha, herself a state premium and elite mare, has already produced three licensed Stallions.

Chalou represents the Holsteiner line 1916, which produced one of the most important Holstein mares, Wodka by Lord of the Schoof family. She is also the great-granddam of Harrie Smolders’ (NED) current guarantee of success, Uricas van de Kattevennen. This successful line also produced many licensed stallions such as Arturo, Chadron, Clearway, Controe/Marco Kutscher, Conway I (USA, HLP winner), Conway II, Laissez faire (licensing winner), Lord Inkognito, Malteser, Mowgli, as well as numerous internationally successful horses such as Antoinette/Dr. Josef Neckermann, Contour/Stany van Paesschen (BEL) and the 2009 Derby winner Carassina/Thomas Kleis.
